I made a pen holder out of a fruit cocktail can/tin, can’t post images here (though posted in my blog but they aren’t clear enough becoz of low quality cam of my mobile). We were getting some wood work done in our kitchen so I utilized those wood flakes too.
Constituents & procedure:-
1. Can/Tin
2. Wood flakes
3. Plane white paper
4. Ribbon
5. Glue
6. Scotch tape
7. Artificial flower
Cut the a paper to the size of tin. Spread glue on the paper, sprinkled wood flakes on it and let it dry. Pasted the paper on the can and wrapped it with a thin plastic wrap (for keeping the wood flakes from falling off on table/carpet etc) and fasten it with a piece of ribbon (which was left over from a dress). Glued a plane white paper inside the can. Took a few flowers (artificial) from the vase and attached them inside the can to make it a little more embellished.
