Re: Learning how to dance....
No, I'm saying that I think desi guys are less likely to take dancing lessons to learn how to dance. I can see white guys taking lessons..they are more open minded and flexible.

Re: Learning how to dance....
Men dancing is not part of our culture Candy, so resistance in our men is because of culture,
Re: Learning how to dance....
What about bhangra and khatak and stuff? It's a part that they don't want to embrace.
Re: Learning how to dance....

I don't want my wife to be dancing with sword in her hand in My bedroom.
At time things can be very chopable
Re: Learning how to dance....
Actually most desi guys I know, fully embrace bhangra. My fiance is looking forward to the bhangra dancing at our valima. However, I'm not looking forward to the slow dance, as I feel he will be stepping all over my toes and just doing everything wrong! lol

Re: Learning how to dance....
As far asx the pole dancing thing....I knew many dancers, they came in all flavors and types...and yes some of them were "pole dancers...and guess what they told me about the poles? They use the poles and dont stray too far from them because it helps protect them lol! Some dudes get so beside themselves that they try to drag the dancer off the bar or stage and this gives the dancer something to grab hold of and hep fight off the insubordinate....lol!!
Sorry to deflate the exotic flavor of the whole thang lol!! but well, there it IS.
Lets try to get back to a nice and lovely foxtrot or waltz with the one you love....less trouble that way yeah?
Re: Learning how to dance....
My issue was never with the poles, but with the bouncers .. at least poles dont throw you outside the bar

Queer - I didn't know YOU would be so anti dancing.
What is so humiliating? It could be fun. It's could be a way to exercise together. It could be foreplay and communication therapy for couples.
Only if taliban danced 30 minute a day maybe the endorphins would kick in....
sigh

Re: Learning how to dance…
Everyone knows only white guys can dance.
Re: Learning how to dance....
Cursed be bhangra haters.
Re: Learning how to dance....
dance is either to
1-impress op-S.
or
2-to celebrate company of op-S.
NOW what hell is a dance if no op-S is around?
Re: Learning how to dance....

i *love *white boys dancing!
Re: Learning how to dance....
PM aka mithun chakraborty, that isnt all dance is. traditionally dances are about celebration. and not just about opposite sex (revolutionary idea to you, i know.)
