3 pounds are hard to lose when you dont have much to lose in the first place. Thats why im having a hard time with my 3-4 pounds…but i need to shed em fast!! so far what have you done sabriya?? i tried to do the liquid thing(diet coke, juice, water) but couldnt stick to it!:bummer: so now im doing the cereal diet having kellogs corn flakes 3 times a day with skimmed milk and no sugar. Hopefully that should work!:slight_smile: keep us updated!!!

Instead of doing the no-eating thing, I’m just trying to eat right and exercise these days :bummer:

Try these exercises…while I didnt lose any weight, I managed to get rid of 2 1/2 inches, which is just as good for me :stuck_out_tongue:

These days just trying to live off of avocado sandwiches, baked onions, black bean cakes (spicy of course!), curried rice, and baked tomatoes with garlic… bread and butter pickles aren’t bad either! Believe me, its much better than the oily salans and fattening fast food out there! lemme know if you want the recipes! :smiley:

Keep your water intake high...much of the time we mistake thirst for hunger and eat when our bodies actually need water instead...this is also v good for your intestines, skin and hair...

Please don't do any crash dieting, you'll ruin your body. Starving yourself can cause really bad breath as well as lowering your immunity to illness etc not good

Do something fun - go out dancing, play badminton/basketball etc exercise in a way that's not tedious or boring and you won't even realise how much energy you're exerting :)

i just found an article containing a weight loss plan thats 1kg in a day. i dunoo is it a rite way or not but seems better as it dint ask for reamin hungry all the day, just cut sugar and oil from food and a 20 min walk. its as follows and for the refernce am also pasting down the link. but if anyone do it than please let us tell.

When you wake up, two hours before breakfast, drink: juice of one lemon mixed with a teaspoon of apple vinegar, pinch of salt and some mineral water (this will tell your body to start burning fat). One hour before breakfast you can have some cucumber salad, slightly seasoned, or some watermelon.
Don’t skip breakfast, but be careful how much fat you eat. Try integral muesli, yogurt, low-fat milk and cheese or some vegetables. Don’t eat any sugar! After breakfast drink a cup of green tea.
Eat a green apple before lunch. Follow with meat prepared with no fat, apple vinegar seasoned salad, fruit and vegetables.
For dinner eat a yogurt with some fruit. Bathe in hot water in which you put 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Before going to sleep have a drink of lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey and some mineral water mixed together.
During the day you should drink at least 2 litres of water and have a 20 minute walk or some other exercise. Avoid fat and carbohydrates.

Wow sabriya, you lost 2 1/2 inches by doing these excercises..thats great. Can you tell me how much excercise you did please? I mean how many sets of each excersise or how long did you do them for? and if you really dont mind..where did you lose the inches from :) because i would love to lose something from my butt and thighs!! :) hope thats not too much info!!

30-45 minutes each day... sometimes broken up into 22 minutes each twice a day, sometimes more... it really varied. Hehe, yeah but from my tummy...trying to get rid of my chunky thighs too! :p Jumprope, jumping jacks, squats, scissors, and lunges are good like some people mentioned... jogging/fast walking aint bad either! thats what I'm doing these days! I'll keep you updated though, and let me know if you find something better :)

Okay so has anyone tried the special K diet, lose 6lbs in 2 weeks. I have some weight to lose as well and thought about doin the special K thing, I’m eating healthy and exercising at the mo, and heard of thing

Basically you eat 2 bowls of specal K cereal a day for 2 meals and you can eat normally for the 3rd meal. Apparantly you do get sick :bummer:of eating the same thing over and ever again… but gotta suck it up:hoonh:

Now the only thing remains… I detest special K!!!:naraz:

^Bulimia is where you eat like crazy and then force yourself to throw up afterward. I've considered doing that, but opted not to. Too afraid that i'd get addicted, become bulimic and die.

woooohhh ur diet sounds dangerous!! exercise, eat smaller portion....eat fruits and veggies avioid snacking and never eat after 6 pm no matter what...maybe that will help??

Avocado Sandwich

Spread some low-fat or non-fat mayonnaise on wheat bread, add avocado with a tiny bit of salt on it, lettuce, tomato, and cheese (can be any kind, but swiss is best).

Black bean cake

2 cups of dried black beans... you have to rinse soak them overnight.... the next day, over high heat, put the black beans in a saucepan with 4 cups of water to boil... once it starts boiling, lower the heat, cover it partially and let it simmer until the beans are kinda soft or tender... it takes about an hour or so...

Then you mash the beans with 7-8 cloves of chopped garlic... stir in some dhannia and namak... You can make about 9-10 cakes from this mix.. you have to refrigerate it then for at least an hour (in a plate)

After that... put olive oil in a frying pan and cook the cakes until they're kinda crisp... not more than 5-7 minutes. You're done!

Curried Rice (straight from another site)

INGREDIENTS

* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 tablespoon minced garlic
* black pepper to taste
* 1 tablespoon ground cumin, or to taste
* 1 tablespoon ground curry powder, or to taste
* 1 tablespoon chili powder, or to taste
* 1 cube vegetable bouillon
* 1 cup water
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 cup uncooked white rice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Sweat the garlic; when the garlic becomes aromatic, slowly stir in pepper, cumin, curry powder and chili powder. When spices begin to fry and become fragrant, stir in the bouillon cube and a little water.
  2. Increase heat to high and add the rest of the water and the soy sauce. Just before the mixture comes to a boil, stir in rice. Bring to a rolling boil; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.

sabriiya . Allah ki bandi ..rehem kero apni jaan pr... dont take any any anyyyy pills or anything for diet.. they all have side effects.. u r so young .. what if something went wrong wwith ur body god forbid..

uff if u really wanna lose.. try this remedy.. drink lemon water first thing in the morning without sugar or anykind of fake sugar ... as much lemon as u can bear,.. and lessen the intake of sugars and sweet things .
