I needed to know if there is a gul ahmed shop in lahore because i can't seem to see its location anywhere on google. Also where is the best placeto get al karam and gul ahmed lawn? I know this has been discussed a lot but i need names of the shops, bazaars, market. Can they be purchased at anarkali market?

Yes, there is a Gul Ahmad shop in Lahore...the name is Ideas...and it is in City Towers, Gulberg.
I think there is a gul ahmed shop in liberty market...or is it alkaram..now I am confused. But I think you can get gul ahmed lawn from HKB or other big stors selling kapras.

gulahmed's website. but its best to g shopping in bazaars and find cool bargains on foot from shop to shop. really i take the shopping experience in Pakistan in cloth shops to be a learning experience for shop keepers and ourselves in economics.

you can order sobia nazir lawn suits form her facebook profile. her new lawn dresses are abs stunning, you just need to send your size and she stiches them and posts them to you, alterations can be made ie, a sleevless with sleeves etc

For those interested in lawn suits… get 'em now! there is some fantastic prints out right now and the whole trend of chiffon dupattas with broshia effects (dont know how to spell it 
) gives the entire suit a whole new dimension. I bought a couple by Al-karam suits for Rs650 each after bargaining. and the Swiss lawn collection at Gul Ahmed has some nice prints too, and the colours

I have learned so much from these forum discussions..I ever knew that Gul Ahmed had an online website....I haven't been to Pakistan since 2005..and no plans to go anytime soon, ...what other shops and boutiques are online?

from where did u buy those pinks. cauz now a normal suit costs around 600 to 800 and for gul ahmed and alkaram they starts from 1800 Rs in ISB.

Lakhani, Star, etc lawn you can get around the R400-600 range.
Gul Ahmed started around Rs1100 from memory. And I got the Al-karams that cheap as apparently summer is supposed to be coming to an end and they were about to get new stock.
I bought the Al-karams from a shop in Heydri and the Gul Ahmed ones were in their outlet (they have a couple now throughout karachi).

I just bought 3 cotton suits from Gul Ahmed. I've always been a big fan of Gul Ahmed and until couple of months ago never knew i can buy them online. They cost about 30 US dollars each and did take a long time to arrive in the US, however, i absolutely love them the prints are so cute and the love the chiffon and silk duppattas, they look and feel so glamorous. I thought $30 was ok for lawn/cotton, but after reading the posts here i think i may have paid too much, with the stiching and adding trimming each suits cost me at estimated 50 dollars.Ugh, Only if i can go back to Pakiland every yar, i know i would find beautiful clothes at a fraction of the price. Sobia's lawn is way toooo expensive on FB. Can anyone else recommend a way for us peeps in the US to buy lawn suits without going to Pakistan???:)
