I don't see anything "fahash" about these clothes and ads, they would be considered pretty modest by western standards; most ultra conservatives in Pakistan have a weird definition of 'vulgar' and 'obscene'.
I find it hilarious that Islamist organizations have the time and money to vandalize billboards and voice their opinion against this "fahashi" yet don't speak up or do anything when terrorists blow up schools and temples in the name of the same ideology, they're not as pissed when females get honor killed or circumcised; Mullahs in Pakistan are obsessed with how women dress or what people do in their bedrooms, but they don't care about the more important things that are part of the Islamic doctrine.
I think definition of modesty just don't come through Mullas. It is well built in Culture as well and these organisation just try to exploit those values time and again.

and how many families in Indus valley have nude statutes at their home now? Today, a lady in Indus valley took duaptta on her head outside her home (whether she is Hindu or Muslim). The common culture (leaving religion aside) followed by all ladies, is to cover and not do something that made men attentive to you. There is sizable population of Hindus in Sindh. How many Hindu ladies do you see making their career in Show-Biz? The point is there are taboos in society which are followed beyond religion.

Given the opportunity most Sindhi Hindus wouldn't mind liberalizing themselves, you can see it in India right now, a lot of Sindhi girls work in Bollywood.
I'm not advocating for nudity to be acceptable in Pakistan, but Mullahs need to broaden their minds, there's little-to-nothing obscene about these ads, if anybody gets excited by seeing these images then they're sick in the head or really frustrated.

I do agree of the bigger issues, but again the matter here is of social acceptability and how it can be exploited by certain groups. Media shows twisted picture of society and just because people are watching what media produces that doesn't mean that people have accepted those things in their routine life as well.

Media wants to shape society but the only way you can shape society is through the education system, you can see it in Turkey and other liberal Muslim countries,, people won't be more liberal until they're taught how to think and not what to think.
