Yahsir Waheed fabric for me has always proved good. Its a little thick but good enough for summers of Lahore. Its economical and also you can have 1 piece or 2 piece that makes it more affordable. In Pakistan when I was teaching in university Yahsir Waheed was no doubt a great option of everyday wear for me alongwith Mausummery and Gul Ahmed. Although I always liked Junaid Jamshed lawn more but that was reserved for our semi formal university events

After a few years of avidly following designer lawn, this year the only brand I know for sure I'll be getting is khaadi. Good prints, good quality, lovely chiffon dupattas, washes and irons easily, plenty of cloth for designing as you wish, embroidery is part of the fabric so no extra patching costs.
LSM has disappointed the last two years, SS copies are soo abundant you can't tell which is real and which is a 1/3rd the original price copy. Like the quality of kamal, but not Zara shahjahans designing, love elans designs but the quality not so much.

well, after hearing so many positives for Yasir Waheed, i can only speak for myself. i am in USA and the summers here arent as bad as in khi, so when i wore that suit, i felt so hot as if the air had trapped in. i immediately changed into one of khaadi lawn, and it was a night and day difference!!
Quite right about lsm and SS. Didnt buy either last year. Lets see if they come up with something eye catching in real this time around.

Al karam has just launched their lawn range. I like the fact that they’ve kept there campaign really simple, so you can see exactly what you’re getting and the focus is just on the kapray. One or two nice prints. I usually like a mixture of pastels and rung burungay colours

saw some prints os LALA on the FPW ramp. they have used alot of black and white print. i guess many are going to come up with printed pants this year. lets see. i am excited to see SS.

I too did not get any of those. Last year it was only Elan and Kamal lawn for me 5 suits and that was wrap for lawn 2013. This time I would be in Pakistan and that is giving me so pleasure that I will see all printed lawn world after 2 years hayee. Last year I just had in mind kash main Pakistan March April main ja sakoon and it was just a wish but Allah listened to it, although its a kind of stupid wish.

where did you purchase the Yahsir Wahid prints from webby? my mum usually visits kapaas fabrics in F10 markaz. do you think they will be stocking it or is there somewhere else you could recommend plz?
i normally buy from yahsir waheed exhibition in islamabad hotel held in march every year...all designs r available there.. but since last year he is stocking at kapas and anum cloth in f10.. but they have left over stock...its best to get from exhibition and particulary on first day

can anyone comment on the quality of chrizma lawn…i have seen this brand has exceled like anything since last year…their winter collection was really good and reasonably priced anf this lawn collection has some amazing prints..but i dun know anything about quality..if anyone has first hand experience plz share
