khaadi catalog is up and so is their website. i like how they have posted the pics with descriptions. some suits are 4 pc. i dont understand. 2.5m for shirt, another 1.5m for shirt and then shalwar and dupatta. WHY 2 pcs for shirt?isnt 2.5 usually enough for a shirt? confused :(

Extra 1.5 m is for panels, which is embroidered or of a different print and can be used in designing. Sometimes they give extra cloth for sleeves or back or it may contain borders that are cut and patched. Khaadi is very generous with cloth than gul Ahmad.

I always get taken in by the fantastic colours in the photos and then get very disappointed when I see them in real. I remember a couple of years ago so many vendors on facebook would post up exhibition lawn photos which were always helpful in choosing designs but now it’s very rare.

Yes very much in Pakistan and quite glad been here. I have seen crescent ones, they are very beautiful in real too. The green one named Royal is pretty, the one people are not over but is very graceful is Skin probably design number 15 and also design no1 earth is so unique. I liked Spice no:12 the purple one and got that. Generally Crescent is good, yes pricy can be in range of 4500-5000 but then they had Karina in campaign. Have not seen any other lawn yet but planning to go to kamal exhibition and visit Khaadi outlet sooner. Élan is also on the list. Insha'Allah will give feedback to all pardesis like me

I was at khaadi at 11:15 and it was a crazy fish market, there were packets strewn all over, the staff was going berserk, I couldn't properly check out the prints, there was so much confusion, shortage of catalogues. I picked two I liked from the website and might get it exchanged later. There was a lovely orange one I have my eyes on. The pink one wasn't available.
raania, which ones you got? And kindly tell which ones were hot selling?

I got f1468a and b1439b, might exchange the last one with one of the designs that hasn't been launched yet. There was ultimate rush and confusion for anyone to figure out which design they liked best, the bright colored ones seemed to be popular choices.

Most of the Khaadi suits were not impressive at all. There were some nice ones which have not been out online. The heavily embroidered with the lawn dupattas were good.
