I wore a lavendar lengha for my nikaah, but i don't really feel comfortable posting it online, but let me know when you're coming on, and i can post if for a bit.

Thanks everyone for the help. Some of these dresses were really lovely. Sara, I remember when you wore that and was actually thinking of something along those lines. I’m just not sure if I want something that is all that color, or something that is that color with darker purple or blue to bring it out more.

I decided against lavendar and green together (which some people here as well as my mil mentioned.) Even though I like both colors separately, they can look kind of weird together if the shade of green is off. If the colors were guaranteed to look like this, I would get it in a heartbeat:

but I think it may be too risky, as there is too big of a chance of the shade of green being wrong. I know I’ll be happy no matter what shade of lavender, purple, or blue is used so I’m sticking with those colors.

I really, really loved this one…wish I could see more of the dress in this picture:

Also, a few of you mentioned turquoise..I think really light turquoise looks nice with peach or cream colors.

hiya....
I will recomend you something in light colour ... light purple it will look good...i recomend light purple lehnga with silver ,light purple and medium purple work on it, with silver jewelry and light purple make up with silver touch , that will be great...i love purple colourin any shade but light purple ki baat hi or hai ...and wish u good luck 4 future
