Steve Madden. Lol, last year I posted nude flats from there too, just the back detailing was different. This pair is to wear when I need a smarter pair because the others have got kinda worn from wearing them all the time.
I had to have someone buy and send them but all my flats for the past 2-3 years have been from SM. If you buy the right kind, they are so comfy and look so good, I live in them.
Thanks, stoppit! It's true that a comfortable pair of flats can make your day feel like a breeze specially when you have to run around the town like a headless chicken most days of the week like myself. I'm going to check this pair out :)
Ok, I have no fashion sense what so ever, and I try to dress a little conservative as well (I dont wear hijab though). So I love these tops that you bought, but I want to know how you would wear them? What I mean is, what do you wear them with? What type of bottom? Do you belt it? What accessories? thanks!
Most of the time I dress more conservatively too, on an everyday basis. I prefer not to wear sleeveless (I only sometimes do and then in the summer) and I prefer my tops to cover my behind (I’m short so these are bit longer on me). I also don’t wear skinny jeans.
I bought these tops because they are so versatile. The jeans I do wear are slim straight jeans..it’s very difficult to find the right kind; they give the look of more skinny jeans but without the tightness. So these tops go great with jeans making the jeans a little more dressy (smart casual territory). I’d most likely then wear my staple ballet flats but you could also wear heels.
These tops aren’t really long enough for a belt, plus personally, I don’t like the trend of sticking a belt over everything. Some tops are made to hang and drape.
But they will also go with trousers. The navy one I plan to wear with beige-taupe ankle peg trousers. You could wear them with jeans of the same colour too. Again flats, or heels depending on the occasion.
This is how mango styled it which is nice for work if you have to be smart but not wear a suit.
With the off-white top, I will most likely wear with jeans and a black boyfriend blazer or off-white as well.
Probably asking the wrong person, because I am a minimalist! I don’t often wear necklaces. These days I like larger stud earrings, so I would wear those with both. With the off-white top, nothing else. with the navy blouse, a statement cuff to go with the earrings.
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you taking the time to write that all out for me! If you have any other suggestions, please keep them coming! Im trying to become a little more fashion-forward…I even watch “What not to wear” everyday, and have picked up some pointers from there too.
I am loving that Michael Kors watch! I need that Rose Gold one, is that the color you got?
Also, I am not buying much makeup lately so I am compensating for it by buying polish.
Got 2 shades from OPI’s Ballet collection (they are GORGEOUS jellies!) and one crazy glitter top coat from China Glaze from the Hunger Games collection.
OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu! (sheer white) and a jelly glitter top coat (Pirouette My Whistle)

Ahhh how exciting!!! You've got to tell me more about Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer, Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, and Kryolan Cel Sealer. What exactly are the first and last? how do you like all 3 products?

The Ben Nye Final Seal is something I started using very recently and it works. This isn't for makeup on a daily basis...I use it for special instances when there will be bright lights or chances someone will sweat. I use it before and after the makeup for longer wear and matte finish. It can be compared to the All Nighter but that won't give you the matte finish and its not as "heavy duty"...its simply a setting spray.
The Kryolan Cel Sealer is fun...I use it to create eye liners of different colors. You take the Sealer and mix with any color powder to create a budge proof eyeliner gel...apply with a brush. I use it with Nehru by MAC.
