lovely designs..id love 4 u 2 design me my friend's and my sister's lenghas!..my sister's would have to be mauve with antique gold work on it preferebly mermain skirt lengha..mine would be baby pink with swarovski crystals similar to my friend's which would be maroon with silver or crystal embriodery..she hates gold!..all preferably mermaid but id b willing to compromise on my pink one because i have my perfect walima outfit in my hed not my wedding one lol..walima would have to be mintgreen and silver work on it heavily specially on the dupatta which wud be like jaali..:D..thanks n keep up the great designs!

oh i just noiced how the ties match the outfits..brilliant..obviously the guy will have to wear a sherwani at the wedding but on the walima it will be a cream coloured suit with a mint green tie the exact matching to my lengha :-)..toodles!

Faizansa, i look through magazines, but come up wit the designs on my own.. these r all ink on paper, with regular waterclor markers and gel pens :)

Among the ahaadeeth which state that it is haraam to draw/make pictures and that it is a major sin is the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said, “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: ‘Whoever makes an image in this world will be told to breathe the soul into it on the Day of Resurrection, and he will never be able to do that.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim). He [Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him)] also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every image-maker will be in the Fire, and every image that he made will be made to appear to him and will torment him in Hell.” Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “If you must do that (draw pictures), then make trees and things that have no soul.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim). The general meaning of the ahaadeeth is that it is absolutely forbidden to make images of anything that has a soul.
