dont even think about it young lady!!!!! I work in Cancer therapy and cancner is just a statistical probability for your cells to malfuntion... careless behaviour like smoking only increase probability.

Besides, some Ulemas have given Fatwas that it is Haram!!!

it doesn't take any Ulema to say it's haraam. It's plain and simple: Anything that can potentially alter one's state of mind, even for a while, is haram, because actions done in that period are not those which one would normally do, and that includes the so-called darbaar fakirs too, because they do it the most....drink/smoke hashish in the name of seeking a state of pure trance'

It’s plain and simple: Anything that can potentially alter one’s state of mind, even for a while, is haram, because actions done in that period are not those which one would normally do, and that includes the so-called darbaar fakirs too, because they do it the most…drink/smoke hashish in the name of seeking a state of pure trance’

yes, Teggy Bhai () your’e right. However, it isn’t just coz u get high smoking… a lot of the times ppl dont get high… I think their reasoning is two-fold; 1. good health is a gift from Allah SWT, we have NO right to take it for granted (just like we ain’t allowed to take our lives) and 2. Smoking comes into the category of Israaf (spending in extravagance), and in the Quran Allah SWT warns us against this practise.

PS: did my english make sense right to the end of the paragraph or deteriorate like yesterday
