That is no excuse, my hubby is a pro in the kitchen… don’t use your gender as an excuse 
You just need practice..
BTW i don’t know where you’re from, but here in the UK, they have microwaveable rice, of all kinds, 2 min in the microwave and bam! Perfect rice 
And i’m not ashamed to say i have used this
