the lasers they may use for cosmetic reasons doesn’t necessarily mean that they are using radiation… i cant see how high Energy electrons/ photons could enhance a person’s appearence! if anything, they make you really un-appealing! the patients here develop really red/ blueish skin, which after a while starts to peel off… looks quite bad 
I think you are talking about some other kinda laser treatment
