Atlanta: No.
Sara: That's because dinner is served so late that you end up feeling hungry and rushing for the food even if it was terribly prepared.

:D...lemme tell u one thing...that happened very recently...
my frnd msged me at around 12 on the first day of eid...that is day before yesterday...n said..."i'll call u today...meri engagement hai...invitation deina hai"
then she msged me on the 2nd day of eid n said, "i called u but u were sleeping...call me as soon as u wake up"
i called her when i woke up...she told me abt the time n place n insisted that i should come...n i DID go there...it was fun.....n she had her excused...so u know...one week is a lot more than 7 hrs...that she gave me...but her insistance was quite enough to make me believe that she wanted me to come...so u know...:)
My friend gt married all of a sudden...she called like 5 days before...and it didnt matter...went coz she is my friend...had fun and gave her my love and wishes...that's all that really matters.
and that’s why i eat and fill up before i get there ![]()
Sounds like a case of either a shot-gun wedding or a tremendously disorganized dulhan. Cut her some slack. She is getting married, after all. There are probably more important things on her mind then ... (ok, lets leave it at that). :)
PCG get off your high horse and just go, atleast she invited you and it would be rude not to go!
The horse is anything but high.
Its quite short actually.
Ah, I'll go, but then this spurs another topic of discussion. Why do desis think its okay to throw something together last minute and give last minute invites for wedding-related ceremonies?
^ because they can! lol cmon yaar, if its between friends why is it such a big deal, do you need an invite 6 months in advance? :p
