I wouldn’t recommend it for facial areas. I also had to wait until after my degree to have the money to afford laser but I’m glad I did. It allowed me to research more and I decided for laser on my body and electrolysis for my face. I’ve had done mine here, slowly over a period of years, working one area at a time, so my upper lip, sideburns and eyebrows are all done. I’m not finished though because I have other financial commitments.

For my sister, since she has a lump sum from her uni loan, I’m taking her to an electrologist at the top of her game who’s in Spain. I haven’t found an equivalent in the UK. She will be able to give my sister ‘clearance’ (removal of all obvious hairs) in one day, although it is going to be pretty hardcore. Her kill rate from clearances is also very high, so she will only need 2 or 3 clearances to achieve permanent results, with each subsequent clearance being shorter than the last. I will also be going to her for the rest of my face and body work, such as finishing off my arms now my laser treatments are done, hands etc.

Ohh so you’ve got electrolysis done for your face? I though you’d got laser done. Yeh i would like to just do side burns/lower facial areas because they are my priority places right now..I’m hoping to have some unii loan money left over which i’m gonna put to one side. I’m hoping to start whatever method in the summer so by the time my wedding comes around i’ll be freee from hair..on my faacee!

Wow you must have had a lot of treatment done! and you must LOVE it being all hair-less!

Alsoo one quick note - i was looking to get a chemical peel done and i spoke to my mum about it and she advised that’s not really the best thing done - but instead she spoke about a dermalogical peel - I THINK that’s what she said. I might need to ask her again!
