Threading upper lip.
Dont touch my eyebrows, they are fine as God created them. Nice and shaped just brush them over anyway i heard that the Prophet has cursed women who do their eyebrows. Will come back and post the fatwa and the hadiths relating to this! By all means pluck your monobrow so it becomes two brows lol...

threading. I tried laser but the hair never went away and I figured it was a huge waste of money to keep lasering with no results BOO :(

if you do the threading yourself, do you use a special stronger thread or can i just buy it at the store here in the States?

No, you don't need any kind of special thread. Use any thread, it works. Obviously not a very kachha one but a thread you use to sew clothes will do. x

My sister uses the thread that threading salons use. The thread in my opinion is expensive and it cuts my fingers. I personally hate it!! however you can buy that thread from any indian/pakistani threadng salon here in the states or you can buy it online:
I use regular sewing thread. It works the best for me. It breaks more easily than the thread my sister uses but it doesn’t cut up my fingers and I think it’s easier to use if you are doing your own threading. I’d stay away from the silk threads though.
