an achievement is an achievement and I think (I may be wrong) but proper etiquette calls for her being called Dr on the card since that’s her title. I just think it’s weird that it’s expected when the Dr is a boy but not when it’s a girl. i went to a wedding of a couple recently where the girl is a dr and the boy isn’t and they introduced them as “BOY’SNAME and Dr. GIRLSNAME”

I am out of the loop when it comes to Pakistani weddings. I was not aware that if a boy is a doctor, it’s expected. If that’s the case then it should be the same for the girl.
