just because tendulkar failed at one world cup everyone asking for him to retire
west indies didnt do anything last world cup, i guess lara should have retired 4 years ago pfffff

anyways, I will remember Lara as a fighter, definitely one of the greatest players in world cricket, too bad he didnt have the fortune of having a world cup title to his name.

^ Lara turns 38 on May 2 and Tendulkar turns 34 day after tomorrow i.e he is 4 not 5 years younger than Lara. And to say that Tendu had a bad 2007 WC is an oversimplification of facts. His form has been in decline for 3 years or so (as also noted by Ian Chappell). And it's not just his one-day form. Tendu did nothing of note in Pakistan or SA during his last test series.

Brian Lara ,what a batsman he was .he knew how to convert scores into more bigger ones .A treat to watch in full flow.A power packed display .The world of cricket is getting poorer day by day with the game's greatest ones are retiring.
