Its specs are not even close to mine, update your laptop to latest specs, but go for some other company.. i don’t even consider Toshiba a good notebook company. They make cheap laptops !

well buy an airbook. (around ~ 1300-1400 pounds) + adobe suite (legal one and get the masters collection is around US$2,499) + pro tool and accessories and then send it to me. lol.
on serious note:
these days technology changes very frequently, so i will not advice such an outrageous investment on laptop especially when you know nothing about them.
ps. worlds economy is already in recession so save as much as you can.

unfortunately it does if you block the air vents under the laptop, which is why it is recommended to put it on a flat surface. i run it under high resolution, browsing+gaming+multimedia, and the temperature is normal.
