For 5'2 I would suggest 45 is a good length for long shirts. For 5'8 I'd say 52 would be alrite ...

can we still wear straight pants (about 1 inch above ankles) with anarkalis??
i think culottes with anarkalis is too too much volume and will make me look HUGE.
i dont wear capris...

Yes, you can. Have seen a lot of people wearing straight pants with anarkalis. It looks nice.

back to the same question…
im 5’5’'. got a peshwaz made thats 52 inches long. wearing heels that are 4 inches.
the peshwaz is black, with shocking pink and ferozi work along the daman. i added a 4 inch shocking pink patti at the end for further embellishment. problem is, im wearing black culottes under the peshwaz, and since its so long, u can only see approx 3-4 inches of the ajar/culotte. Hubz was of the opinion that it looks like there some strange black kapra attached at the end of the peshwaz!!! 
now im a lil confused…should i remove the satin patti, that wud make the pishwaz shorter too?? or just let it go, he doesnt know much abt clothes anyways!!

well did u buy it readymade or got it stitched urself? i wud say dont remove the satin putti..that wud add definition to ur dress def…
with culottes this much long…hmmm if it wud have been with pajama chooridar or khara pjama then to chul jata..with culottes…i think he is right:)

Even on very tall people ajar/culotte looks like some strange kapra attached at the end of the outfit!!! I m really not a fan of the look. I prefer peshwaazes with trousers or churidaars.
Instead of removing the patti or shortening the peshwaz, why don’t you drop the idea of wearing it a trouser?

I have a few outfits in the styles mentioned in this post. My querry now is some suit materials you buy is enough to make shalwar kameez only. In that case what style in shalwar is in at the moment. i.e. ghair shalwar or straight shalwar etc. and how long the kameez should be in order to make it look trendy

ok guys pls help me... i wanna make a pishwas but dunno how mch its DAAMAN n LENGTH shud b. i got anarkali made that was 52 inch in length with 9 kaliyan front n back.. but for pishwas i have no idea.. can anyone pls help? i m 5'5 i wanna wear capri with it. pls suggest how many kaliyans are there i pishwas and how mch length it shd b?
