The mosque was not illegal , It was perhaps first mosque of Islamabad built by CDA but in Zia era , It was handed over to Aziz

If you want to find out what the real reason for this hate factory remaining operational is, look at the aftermath of the lal masjid operation.
Here was a mosque built illegally on government land challenging the writ of that very government in the heart of its capital. Many people had to die to clense the place of these guys.
Yet the power of the molvi is such that the government couldn't even hang this coward much less destroy the place.
The reputation of the molvi is such that it can never be tarnished. Even when a village mullah is caught molesting and raping children, he can go to a far flung village and resume his service of islam.
Even a proven coward like molvi burqa, who incited other people's children to die but tried to escape himself, gets to be treated like a reputable religious scholar. Even when he is openly praising and promoting the country's enemies, the government can't touch him.
If there is any hope of stemming the tide of religious intolerance, the molvis will have to be put on a leash. Government needs to control who gets to be a molvi and what they can and can't say from the loudspeakers.
I will submit that the problem is too much religion in public and not, as the molvis and their supporters like to say, a lack of religion.
This sleezy bas***rd would been sent to hell just like his younger dog brother abdul rasheed ghazi during lal masjid operation, but our stupid media and the so called civil society started crying about the operation citing innocent students being killed. Yeah "innocent students" my @ass ! Ones who were able to resist SSGs for over 12 hours.

Going by some of the posts, if this Mullah and his hate factory indeed has links with the government and is being protected. Then fair to say that Nawaz League is indeed knocking the nails in its own coffin. They may not even realise but this Lal Masjid issue (plus taking actions against LeT, SSP, LeJ) may prove to be their ultimate test of loyalty to the state. They may not even realise that they're being tested.

If they want us to believe that era of 'good Taliban and Taliban' is over. Then someone needs to take some action against Lal Masjid, LeJ, LeT, SSP to walk the talk. Sad times for Nawaz League that all onus of greater responsibility is on them, and for sake of Pakistan, I hope they succeed in taking all the required actions to eliminate terrorism.

There is a saying for this type of gesture “Jab Khairaat Lagi Batnay To Ga***d Lagi Phatnay”. Excuse my French but I couldn’t find any better words to explain this nonsense useless gesture of this filthy Khinzeer.

They were not created in 1996 . They were created in 80s in ZIA era , The names changed later . You people try to destroy the history just for few political thoughts . And you know very well , till today , all type of terrorists and links with CIA are totally domain of establishment .

taliban as we know them today were created in 96 (naseeruddin Babar), even zia continued what was started during bhuttos time. What are you talking of? There's no bigger tout of establishment than PPP. Similar to Ptis responsibility in kpk these days it was under PPPs watch in the federation when we got the gift of Taliban.

Still you can't absolve PPP and pmln from the mess we are in, after all these are the parties which have been there along with the establishment to give us what we have now.

PPP is never a part of this all and BB was assassinated by using Taliban . PML N is different , A Zia creation but little changed later . PTI and PML N both were soft for Taliban but Imran Khan likes to support Taliban & PML N liked to keep silence , Old stories , everyone knows , no need to discuss any more
