Oh wow.
There is only one hadith about 72 huris for martyrs(male and female) and not for suicide bombers, but there isn't any concept of "72 virgins" in Qur'an or Hadith.
You're right, Qur'an doesn't give any number about the Huris. Also Huris is a creature of Jannah and it doesn't have a gender(like male or female).

I don't wanna discuss whether sexual relationships are mentioned in Quran, to me paradise being a divine concept, needs to and is, above our earthly needs and fetishes. However, let me educate you, that a lot of the street Muslims are very fascinated by the concept of 'all you can have sex' in Jannah. And this is not information that I heard from relatives in Pakistan. I am talking about Hadith and Tafseer books, which go to great detail in describing how sensuous the whole hoor-experience is supposed to be. Trust me, I cannot even describe them to you in a PG form, just know that thsi all-you-can-have-sex with milky-white huoor babes is the only thing that keeps a lot of your bearded brothers going :)

If the criminals are hiding behind innocents, and all chances are given to them to come out from behind the innocents, and resources are being wasted in the stalemate and innocent people are suffering in the city from power outage, lack of food, etc because of curfew, I say go in and attack and try your best to spare the innocents.
You people are so buzdil. I bet if you were living in the area around Lal Masjid and you had food cut off for so long, you'd be hammering for the government to take action.
Why blame the government? Why not blame the main culprit - the people who were too stubborn to give up the women and kids?

what you need to do is to seperate islam and the rewards of keeping away this lifetime to militants hell bent on destruction. i appreciate the two become linked at some point for some people but isnt it your responsibility as muslim to keep away from general attacks on beliefs.
the war on terror doesnt/shouldnt be launched into a wider attack on islamic beliefs.

Is there no law in Pakistan against threatening to kill others (mass murderer by bomb in this case)? If there is none the legislative assembly needs to make one. If there is already one, these people need to arrested and prosecuted.

innocent people, yes
criminals resisting the law ansd refusing to give up, threatening violence, destroyign property, involved in arson, involved in attacks on law enforcement personnel, .. Not at all, they had a choice to come out peacefully, and then they had a choice to not attack law enforcement forces as they entered the compound.
