I must commend the govt ona successful mission. They really have matured a lot. Even I would have panicked a day ago and taken a rash action. They have shown great patience and maturity. Bravo!

I totally agree with your assessment. I don't think govt expected things to go this smooth, but thank God they did. I still think those who are hold up in this so called masjid have potential to create serious problems, but I think after most of the people are out govt should just blow the who thing along with those inside. No point in police, rangers or army personals getting killed chasing these rats. Just get it over with it. Its long over due.

Yes. For some reason I feel that cases and issues that Musharraf handles with 100% direct control and analysis usually and comparatively end up better solved than those where he is only partially involved or where his various deputies and advisors etc are involved with their own faulty methods, judgments, reasons as well as intentions.

Many may not realise. But all this Lal building fiasco and delay action has completely destroyed MMA politically (at least to a great extend). A great political strategy by government to let world as well as Pakistanis realise what MMA stands for. Actually Lal building fiasco came out as rotten apple of MMA advertisement and government very cunningly used it to its maximum effect.
I am sure that Lal building fiasco would hurt MMA in future political battle, for long time to come. It also shows how pathetically ignorant MMA politicians are, especially when they openly showed sympathy with Lal Building fiasco. I don't think that they would ever realise what hit them and how politics mileage can be made.

also...the evenst surrounding the arrest of abdul aziz indicate that the group of women with him were protecting hima nd lyingon his behalf. which basically shows that they may ahve left and allowed to go but they still have the same messed up ideology and thought process.
I seriously hope that info has been taken on all people who surrendered and were allowed to go, and govt keeps track of them, because kuttay like these dont straighten their act in 12 hours.

We now have seen hypocrisy of Qazi Hussein (who is anti-America for all political purposes, but sent his son to the very same land for 'opportunity'), Maulana Diesel (issuing fatwa against women's rule then joining the very same government), and now this 'flavor' of Islamists group's hypocrisy is exposed.
This mother****** Qazi needs to be taken out. Its this tacit support for radicalism that allows such situations to develop. Purge the Islamism from our society, or even a step further is they wish.
