This bad impact was due to Taliban supporters like Imran, Nawaz, Iftikhar Chauncey, etc. otherwise there was nothing wrong with the lesson taught to those khariji munafiq even. They and their sisters deserved the kind of death they wished for others.
Army and Musharraf should have been appreciated at least by people like you who claim to oppose Taliban. But even you support punishing Musharraf (and Musharraf alone) for taking this step.
You call Musharraf a traitor for conducting this operation which helped Pakistan, instead of calling those politicians and judges traitors for doing propaganda on behalf of Taliban. They did the propaganda that Musharraf is doing it on behalf of America and killing our children ... **And you fell for it?!
**My concern is that not only that you fell for this propaganda at that time, you CONTINUE to espouse the same pathetic anti-Pakistan pro-Taliban views. You continue to abuse Musharraf for that operation and you continue to call the terrorists killed there as OUR brothers and sisters.

until and unless you completely condemn everything apparently on side of Taliban you will be accused of being anti-Pakistan, pro-Taliban ;)... you have to fully endorse the line to "completely bomb Taliban and its supporters/sympathisers into oblivion" only then you will be considered as pro-Pakistani and anti-Taliban by certain people, there is no middle ground.

Many people continue to abuse Musharraf for conducting raid on lal Masjid mufsideen.
Good news for these people. An Iraqi jihadi group agrees with them that the Musharraf’s decision to attack lal Masjid was wrong.

اسلام نے خودکشی (suicide) کو حرام قرار دیا ہے۔ اسلام کسی انسان کو خود اپنی جان تلف کرنے کی ہرگزاجازت نہیں دیتا۔ 2۔ قرآن و حدیث میں خودکشی کی ممانعت جیسا کہ اوپر بیان ہوچکا ہے کہ زندگی اور موت کا مالکِ حقیقی اﷲ تعالیٰ ہے۔ جس طرح کسی دوسرے شخص کو موت کے گھاٹ اتارنا پوری انسانیت کو قتل کرنے کے مترادف قرار دیا گیا ہے، اُسی طرح اپنی زندگی کو ختم کرنا یا اسے بلاوجہ تلف کرنا بھی اﷲ تعالیٰ کے ہاں ناپسندیدہ فعل ہے۔ ارشا ربانی ہے: وَلاَ تُلْقُواْ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ وَأَحْسِنُوَاْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَo البقرة، 2: 195 ’’اور اپنے ہی ہاتھوں خود کو ہلاکت میں نہ ڈالو، اور صاحبانِ اِحسان بنو، بے شک اﷲ اِحسان والوں سے محبت فرماتا ہےo‘‘ امام بغوی نے سورۃ النساء کی آیت نمبر 30 کی تفسیر کے ذیل میں سورۃ البقرۃ کی مذکورہ آیت نمبر 195 بیان کرکے لکھا ہے:وقيل: أراد به قتل المسلم نفسه.’’اور یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ اس سے مراد کسی مسلمان کا خودکشی کرنا ہے۔‘‘ بغوی، معالم التنزيل، 1: 418 ایک اور مقام پر اﷲ تعالیٰ نے ارشاد فرمایا: وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًاo وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللّهِ يَسِيرًاo ’’اور اپنی جانوں کو مت ہلاک کرو، بے شک اﷲ تم پر مہربان ہےo اور جو کوئی تعدِّی اور ظلم سے ایسا کرے گا تو ہم عنقریب اسے (دوزخ کی) آگ میں ڈال دیں گے، اور یہ اﷲ پر بالکل آسان ہےo‘‘ النساء، 4: 29، 30
قرآن مجید:
من اجل ذالک…………………………جمیعاً (مائدہ/۳۲)
ترجمہ۔ اسی وجہ سے ہم نے بنی اسرائیل پر واجب کر دیا تھا کہ جو شخص کسی کو نہ تو جان کے بدلہ اور نہ ہی زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی سزا میں (بلکہ ناحق) قتل کر ڈالے گا تو گویا اس نے سب لوگوں کو قتل کر ڈالا اور جس نے ایک آدمی کو زندہ کر دیا تو گویا اس نے سب لوگوں کو جلا لیا۔

There is a difference between killing an innocent person and killing a khariji fasadi. Quran itself calls for killings of such mufsideen.
They are the terrorists who support killings of innocent Muslims. Anyone saying that Quran refrains killing anti-Islam kharij mufsideen, goes against teachings of Islam.
A supporter of khariji is a supporter of khariji terrorism. A supporter of fasadi is a supporter of fasad.
See how far bigoted racism against a certain group of people (in this case, Urdu speaking people) brings some people.
Lal Masjid mardoods are heroes of fasadis all around the world. Iraqi fasadis prove that fact.
Any sane, unbiased, follower of the religion of Prophet Muhammad, can see that Musharraf did the right thing by teaching them a lesson. He thus showed to the world that those mufsideen do not represent Islam.
