B/c the judges, eyewitness & prosecutors are intimidated & are scared of being kidnaped or killed by homicidal terrorists (conviction rate for terrorist related cases is dismal 5%). The judge who convicted Salman Tasers killer was flown out of the country along with his family because of death threats against him. Under such circumstance what do you expect? Personally, I think these type of people should be tried in military courts as enemy combatants w/o recourse to civil justice system that they are manipulating through threats & intimidation.

That is why I said, assuming the verdict is fair.

There is a big chance of problem with swift or military trial as well. Public does not get to know the real truth. And there may not be any any possibility to know the whole truth.

Only way to get real justice is open trials. With complete protection to those who conduct these trials.

It is a separate case, but if the judge who convicted Salman Taseer murderer had to flee the country then it is the fault of security forces not to be able to protect this judge.
