This was one of the most peaceful protests in the country without a loss of life.
2 years of continuous struggle by lawyers who had nothing to gain personally from it. They lost a lot of business and sacrificed time, energy and efforts for a cause. Congratulations to all!

It was all planning of Khawaja Saad Rafeeq to throw barriers at Model Town when Nawaz Sharif came out and also how to counter Police at Mall Road .All was done by this young MNA and he was succeeded
While from March , they did excellent planning , building enormous pressure in whole Punjab and also in NWFP

i doubt that holding a peaceful demonstration of thousands of people without injuring anyone with an objective to death to 'doctrine of necessity' is a bad context. The objective which all political forces in Pakistan endorsed before elections last year.
And it was not Lahore... it was Lawyers from all over Pakistan who struggled for 2 years to achieve this.
I am proud of Pakistan army not intervening too much into politics this time.
Those are some of the ugliest women I have ever seen. Magar lahore lahore hai.

Why did Lahoris vandalize Benazir's moument when the struggle was only for restoration of judiciary?
I also heard that there were anti-Sindh slogans in those rallies?! What were the slogans?

^ First of all, that was not Lahore, and secondly that was after the Punjab Govt was illegally sidelined by Governor Rule. Your attempts to play the race/ethnic card wont work here my friend. Even 9-0 has given up, you should too.

^^ Needed to be investigated who did it. The monument is not in Lahore anyways. Everybody condemned it.
Nobody said anything against any province throughout the last two years of the lawyers struggle. The PPP leaders who wanted judges restored are mainly from Sindh. If people said bad things about Zardari, it had nothing to do about him being a sindhi. It was all about his broken promises. Anyone would feel hurt if somebody does not live up to the promises made.
The political forces that want Pakistan always to be divided are promoting the view that it was a Punjabi movement. Nobody remembers the huge demonstrations Benazir led in Karachi and throughout Sindh for this cause.
Those forces are responsible for firing at SCBA's ex-president Munir A Malik and his torture in Attock Jail. Prejudice is banning people from entry into a city based on their ethnic background!

^^ it is loosers like fazlur rehman urf molvi diesel and altaf hussain who r trying to undermine the role of other provinces.. who can forget scarifices people of Sindh made on May 12 and other days for the same cause... the movement was pure Pakistani by all means...
