Oh God you guys…Lahore is not about masoom’s , coffee tea and company, freddy’s and all that non sense. Thats an insult to my city to be introduced with such places 
Yes they are a part of new Lahori culture but Lahore is much much more than that.
Since you are coming in winter, you should try and visit as many historical places florence has mentioned, do pay a visit to the museum.
Yes do visit M M Alam road it has nice places to eat at. Best one being the burger corner at the end of the road thats what is actually Lahori. Go eat poori halwa on a sunday morning at Capri in liberty or purani anarkali if you really want to feel lahore. Do visit Kuku’s restaurant in red light area. Do go to food street in gawalmandi
For shopping do go to Anarkali just to get the feel of the city, do visit liberty and fotress, if you have a lil bit of lahore left in you, you would love it.
Do drive once on the canal road though not in rush hours!
Oh and do visit Data Darbar if you want to know the real culture and on thursday nights i think they have this dhamal at Shah Jamal, its so Lahori too (too much chars alert though :D)
I don’t know how much of a Lahori you are willing to become but lahore can be best seen from a lahori’s eyes only! There is so much to do try to feel the city, you would love the experience!
And do sit on a rikshaw and tongaonce just for the fun of it :D

^ I was about to recommend the same place Cuckoo's DEN where you can find everything which represents the actual culture of Lahore, the mughal art and archetecture. Everything is just beautiful.

If you not seen Real Lahore, you have seen nothing in Lahore. If you want to feel the real spirit of Lahore,culture,food and heritage, check the link below and visit this part which infact is Lahore .3 years ago i started walking from Chowk Urdu Bazar ,Muslim Masjid by entering Lohari Gate i think and after 5 hours long walk apperaed from Bhatti gate chowk infront of Data Darbar and believe me i have not seen even 20% of all that historical interior !
It closed down atleast 5 or 6 years ago.
The chinese restaurant on top of the Xinhua plaza is not the same restaurant.
The Qila's and all aren't everyone's cup of tea.. waisay toh Lahore Zoo is popular too.. but I wudn't suggest that... hot spots don't really mean cutural sites.

Lahores the bomb! Amazing food, amazing people, best in the country, have fun mizzy! I'm gonna plan a trip myself in February/March.

masooms etc sprung up in last two years or so. and are for wanna bees.
for real lahore stick to good old places of visiting and eating. i am also going back to ma city in jan-feb :) cant wait!
