I admire FAISALABAD for its serenity and plausibility. I have been there many times…last it was in March this year. Loved it. The Beaconhouse School at Faisalabad’s Peoples Colony was established by my elder sister while the great Nusrat Ali Khan and he current Governor Punjab Gen.Maqbool are Faisalabad-ites! Besides, the TEXTILE Giants of Pakistan in yesteryears; THE SAIGOLS belonged to Faisalabad. The history has it that their children..back in early 60’s use to fly by their PIPER aircraft to Lahore everyday for schooling and back.
MCB’s owner Mian Mansha hails from Faisalabad.
Indeed Faisalabad (Lyallpur) has many a fetes up its sleeves!
