Thanks! Yeah, you’re right. I try to keep focused on the bigger picture–that we’re both blessed to be given the opportunity to be finishing med school but it’s easy to get caught up with everyone else’s thoughts since all my friends are flying to Thailand or Maldives or Hawaii or something immediately after their wedding. But breaking up the honeymoon sounds good. And you’re right. Our parents are def going to be footing the honeymoon bill , especially if it was somewhere like Maldives–which is another reason we want to wait. After paying for our wedding, i don’t want either one of our parents to have to spend even more on the honeymoon.
