I don’t know much about men’s fashion other than what looks good worn, but what I do know is when a well-dressed guy crosses my path :wub: I totally do the stop, turn and stare bit :sid:

I see stockbrokers and business professionals out during patio season wearing the jeans, button down shirt (untucked) and jacket, with nice shoes bit and OMG, that is a smexy look! BUT, a guy has to know how to pull off that look.

i already have plain shalwar kameez in blue, black, off white, mustered, light blue. and I do wear them according to my mood. :@:

It's true, @STA.

And @TLK, it looks very fobbish (no offense) when you see jeans w/ dress shoes. It's not that jeans are classified as semi-formal wear, it just looks off. And capris are a type of clothing, which doesn't count. Unless your beef is with capris being paired with Uggs. Then I could see the problem.

Untucked dress shirts w/ jeans + subtle dress shoes w/ out the squared off heel can be pulled off by some guys, for sure.

ONE BIG NO NO FOR ME? BLING ON MEN! ewwwwwwww! I can’t stand when guys wear these obnoxious t-shirts that are really tight and low v-necks as well with their stupid beaded necklaces and their hair straightened and gelled! PEE-YOO!

Gotta agree with you girls - men in shalwar kameez look mmmmm..i love mine in a white shalwar kameez! It’s sooo nice! :slight_smile:
i like it when a guy wears a fitted NOT TIGHT t-shirt with jeans and sneakers. I’m not really into the whole boots with the jeans tucked in - but i loved it when timbalands were in fashion!

  • No excessive jewellry - sometimes less is more!
  • No excessive doing of the hair - i like my guy with a fade now because I’m totally put off with the whole gelled hair thing although he’s trying to grow it back
  • I hate tight jeans ESPECIALLY when a guy has junk in the trunk! :smack:
  • i just basically like my guy nice and simple.

OMG, Cuppy, I agree 100000000% about the V-necks! I should have added that in there. V-necks are a big no no unless you're a Poetry or Dramatics major. And yes, bling is so 1999.

haha i know! It's ridiculous! at one point all the guys around me would wear them with their stupid ass cardigans and their NON-CHESTS all on display. It was like what..? COVER UP MAN..NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THAT LOL. also just re-read your post and i love guys in slouchy clothes like jogging bottoms and tee's...although i prefer myself better in jogging bottoms..mmmm COMFORTABLE :P

Exactly! I love slouchy clothes too. They just look so...comfy and squeezable!
