A diamond is not important, that is if you can afford it yourself too. It’s the idea and the one giving it that matters. I fell in love with diamonds two years ago, not that I've bought any myself. Talked or rather bugged my sister to get me two, now she's around my neck 24/7. I think I'd choose ring for same reason but the idea of an excursion is also very tempting.
This is the course of action I would recommend to all the GS ladies...
Get the diamond ring from Roman
Break up with him
Sell the ring
and go to Hawaii with me
