This reminds me of my friend, he is a lecturer at college , teaches IT. When it comes to half term holidays, what he does is goes out of his place for few days to stay in country side and books a hotel. What he does there is sleeps,eats,sleeps,eats,sleeps. I asked him , why don't you stay at home as he lives alone. He said, I dislike staying home because people ring me, come to visit me, I watch tele, I listen to radio, I use internet ,all this distracts me a lot. So, when I go far away , I just eat , sleep and enjoy peace of mind,no one to distract me, I switch off my phone and no one knows where I am. I was quite surprised to hear this but it is a clever idea especially when you live a busy life in a western country.
