Let me re-phrase,
Bumping old threads is really not appreciated - rather discouraged
It is only allowed in special circumstances when a topic has to be re-discussed for legitimate reasons.
Now dont nobody go overboard with trying to give arguments FOR and AGAINST this simple rule. I know in the GS rule book there is NO penalty for this, the decision will vary from situation to situation, based on the MODs judgement.
