Thanks for supporting my claim. The numerical value of the KSE is not worth the bytes used to type this sentence. The KSE could be at 100 and grow to 130. It doesn't matter because the market is not sound and it is not an adequate reflection of the Pakistan economy.

Rejoicing over such growth is like a blind rejoicing he finally can go to a movie.

I am not rejoicing; I don't have any money in stocks in KSE. However, out of those who have, plenty are rejoicing. An increasing index is an indicator of the growing economy and positive investor's sentiment. It really doesn't matter if one agrees to this or not, but this is how it is interpreted.

Reading comprehension for the lose. Reread what I said Witchdr and don't assume too much. I said the numerical value of the KSE is not worth the bytes, which is factually correct. Be it 14,000 or 30,000 the growth is still based on a market which lacks its basic foundations. The number value makes no difference whatsoever. I hope that clears up the mistake you made.

Secondly the KSE is not an adequate measure of the Pakistan economy, never has been, because our economy is not a free market economy.
