Why should he step down, due to a few thousand people with the support of army holding a gun to his head? If his his government is legitimate then why is he not? Only way to remove a PM is through Parliament. Let PTI bring a no confidence motion.

Fair investigation? 80% of the cases have already been decided by Election Tribunal so you can say that fair investigations have already taken place. The balance will be concluded by December. The army is involved so I am not dragging it into the matter, but it itself has dragged itself into the matter.

Under the constitution it is the election tribunals that decide, and if you are still not happy then you have a right of further appeal to the courts. It does not matter what you or I say but issues of law have to decided by the courts only, nobody else.

IK has been making many speeches like that but nobody said anything, many on TV and many at rallies. Now he is camped outside Parliament and had threatened to storm Parliament, and PM house. He had threatened to lynch PM. His goons did attack President House, Parliament House and even PTV centre. They even attacked private TV channels who did not present a favourable view of their drama, or showed empty chairs. He says that he will not go until PM resigns. It may have been acceptable to ignore sedition by him against the state before but his actions have taken a serious turn. I think 3 people have been killed, hundreds injured and the economy of the country has been affected, government functioning has been affected, schools have remained closed.
You cannot compare the actions of IK with SS. SS stated that President should resign otherwise Parliament will impeach him. SS was wrong to use the words he did and I don’t approve of those words.

They did a demo outside President House and went home. They did not seek to overthrow the government.
