Catty i blame my abu ji for this… he taught me couple of boxing moves
and i do use them every now and then.
I remember beating the heck out of my cousin until he turned red
no wonder he does not want to talk to me no more
Re: kissi ki pitaye karna

Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
Sitting behind the keyboard in the safety of your home, it's very easy to glamorize fistacuffs. In reality, it's not as clean and fun as your childish post make it sound. Boys get into scuffles because of their impulsivity and poor judgement -- raging hormones and testosterone. What they fail to realize is that there are always big brothers, gang of friends who can spend next few months looking to settle the score. You think it's very satisfying, wait till your nieces and nephews come home with broken noses and scarred faces. Revenge is a beeeaaa...
Violence begets violences and it eventually catches up with the perps sooner or later. Some people learn their lessons quickly and some learn it the hard way. Unfortunately, when things go bad, the price can be very high -- from severe physical damage scarring someone for life or a criminal record ruining a future.
Strong ones, truly strong ones, never let conflicts escalate to violence. Settling dispute without violence breeds incredible confidence and camaraderie among friends. Somoene with such self-control will go a long way in life.
You are confusing violent tendencies with mental toughness. There are ways to develop mental toughness without inflicting physical damage on some
poor soul.

Very well said LI. If you live in a place like NYC, you have to be on your toes to make sure you dont get into a street fight, cuz they are nasty. An average street fight only lasts few seconds.
This could be educational for those testosterone bathed key board commandos on this board.
Warning: this is not for the weak-hearted, contains vulgar language and gratuitous violence.

This one is the funniest one:

Avoid them all costs. I have seen too many to know that running away like a coward is better than winning with your teeth in a doggy bag.

DM, if you weren’t so lamba chora… ![]()
LI, that’s true. And I’ve seen some violent situations escalate into year long battles between two groups, which eventually led them to a university disciplinary hearing and an enquiry by the police because some moron used a pellet gun. I still think it’s stupid that they used to fight merely because they didn’t like each other. But I think it’s important to be able to defend yourself, and not be scared to throw a punch or two when it’s necessary.
Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
i think lux is correct...its girls liek cat-woman who think its cool and glamorize fighting and us poor guys have to face the brunt...
Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
That's not true at all dodo-head. I said I have always been opposed to fighting, I couldnt understand why they did it, often my friends would be bleeding or bruised, but the next day they'd feel good about it for some reason. I'm the sort of person who can't even watch blood and gore on tv and hate conflict of any sort. But as I am ageing I realise that being able to kick butt is not such a bad thing, your strength should be used wisely, but I'd encourage kids to be sporty, take up martial arts so atleast they have that confidence and can kick but when need be.
Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
there are some rules to fighting
always keep your jaw tightly shut, it prevents your teeth from shattering and your head from splitting.
Go for the bronchial or collar bone area, one punch and your'e done.
btw whats so scary about blood - it is the foundation of your living body
and the best fight is "NO FIGHT" - the numbing high and pleasure is only a sign of supressed upbringing IMO

Lol, we have this Hindi fillum which just came out, called Fight Club, about a "club" where guys can go to beat up whomsoever they wish to, and to take out all their frustations on their chosen or accidental victims. If it sounds like a rip-off of some Angrezi movie, it most surely is. Well, I dunno if it's fun to fight, or whether guys like it all, but it's sure fun to watch them at it. :p

Earth to Nikki Earth to Nikki - come in - OVER

Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
Hey Brute I just saw some pics from a wedding in your family ;) ... I don't think anybody would want to mess with you, considering your size!!
Yeah NIkki ... I couldnt watch the original coz I'm not into that sort of thing, but I have a feeling this Bollywood version might be easier on the eyes.

Re: kissi ki pitaye karna
I had a lot of anger growing up..I've broken teeth, dented shins, banged skulls up against walls and plenty a punches to the nose...and then sometimes we ended up being best friends...I dunno it actually builds respect in an odd way.
It's like violent love making, except that it hurts...but somehow there's a powerful communicative aspect to it.
Stopped long ago... I never condoned it....mostly it was what the situation called for..like mye dealin with my gf's ex bf... or I used to get real wild when ppl bad mouth thouse I care about.
