of the $20.00 per month that she receives she donates about $2.00 to charity at the masjid (that’s 50 cents from every week) and $5.00 to cover the cost of educating a needy child in Pakistan.

I like your idea. its great thing to do to teach ur kids to donate and share. in our family my brother and hubby on jummah time have to put money in the money box at the mosque…no restriction on amount but minimum of $5. my mum has a coin box at home and every one put money into it and after few months we open it and sometime give to mosque for running cost or give to any charity.
