Maybe I’m the odd one out but I’ve lived in the same home since I was 7, and I only moved out late last year, about an hour or so away…I definitely didn’t have any of that, nobody knows my name, no community feeling, and definitely no longtime/lasting friendships. I can see the benefit of staying in one place, when all those things are present, but since it wasn’t like that for me, I guess it wouldn’t matter.
