No doubt during pakistan film industry’s golden period , most of the quality productions came from karachi.
Lahore film industry is definitely in a decrepit state now but we can’t forget the contributions it has made .Classics like Heer Ranjha came out of lahore. till today no film maker in the whole subcontinent has been able to surpass the standards set by this film in dialogues, music, acting, catsing cinemography etc. it’s a cinematic masterpiece.
in order to revive the film industry we’ve to get rid of the ignorant crass people who’re calling the shots these days. the film studios in karachi need to be revived and the gaamay maajay of lahore film industry should be done away with. may be the ppl from telvision should take the initiative of doing something for the local industry like shoaib masnoor has done.
