I want to make gajar ka halwa and wanted to add khoya to make it more tasty. My mom used to make khoya by cooking the milk for HOURS too but that's such a long process and kind of smelly too.. lol. The khoya in the end is veryyy delicious though.
^^ yeah I have tried that quite a few times. Just make sure you stir it periodically so the ricotta cheese doesn't stick to the bottom.
I guess if I put it in a non stick baking sheet and put it in the oven at low heat it should dry it up slowly and it should not stick to that baking sheet. No ?
May be oil up that baking sheet a little ?
Hmmm... low heat would take forever... yeah try non stick sheet and yeah maybe try butter. I have never tried using oiled or buttered sheet. Maybe try a small quantity first.
