Re: Kerry in Pakistan – India on the agenda
queer jee, you know very well that i avoid getting into unending india pak bashing but i will say one thing…while Pakistani media, columnists and many in public have openly criticized our army and establishment’s past policies to run proxy wars (our media and columnists have been brutal against our army on this front and by the way it has put our establishment on backfoot), i have never ever found a single Indian (journalist or a common indian) who will ever criticize or say one single word against indian govt’s foreign policies as well as its army tactics especially towards Pakistan…in indians minds, it is always Pakistan’s mistake no matter what. PERIOD
indians are unique in this sense as you will meet brits, americans, arabs , Israelis who will be criticizing their govt’s dubious policies…maybe Indians have too much of nationalistic pride going on but to be honest, it is pretty dumb to keep on defending mindlessly everything that your govt or amry does on the name of nationalistic agenda as no meaningful dialogue will ever be possible. It will always be tit for tat type discussion.
