Difference between “prettyface” John Edwards and “prettyface” Dan Quayle? Edwards can probably spell potato…
Edit
And to prove my point, this appeared a few minutes after my original post:
John Kerry:
You may have also heard that the man I selected is John Edwards of North Carolina.
(APPLAUSE) And I want you to know we think this is a dream ticket. We’ve got better vision. We’ve got better ideas. We’ve got real plans. We’ve got a better sense of what’s happening to America. And we’ve got better hair I’ll tell you that goes a long way.
You’ve got to like the sense of humor, all traces of Gore are gone. Anyone who thinks they can sell Edwards as Quayle-lite will be sadly mistaken. Cheney is an old piece of coal, Edwards is a shiny diamond whose gleam makes Kerry look that much better. The question is will Bush be going to the jeweler to trade in for something more appealing?

so between kenneddy possibly pulling kerry's strings, and Pat robertson types possibly pulling bush's strings. who is the worst puppet master?

That is quite an accusation Peer Ji. Care to elaborate?
It is common knowledge that without the conservative Christian machinery behind GW, he would not win re-election. He panders to them at every opportunity.

Coal lasts long enough to cook a hamburger. Diamonds last forever.

Maybe that's the difference between conservative Republicans and Liberal Dems. Dems would rather eat raw hamburger and look at a shiny little jewel while GOPers want their hamburger cooked and don't care much about the glitz.
That's as good a distinction as any and reason enough to cast your vote for one party or the other.

And Mr F hit the nail on the head for me. I'd rather anyone pull the strings than the Pat Robertson type.

It's really getting hard for me to keep track of which group is pulling the strings on which candidate. I thought it was Sharon and the Juice pulling Bush's strings. Now you tell me its Robertson and the Christian fundos. For a while, wasn't it Cheney?

Coal is an outdated pollutant so the metaphor to Cheney stands...

You obviously haven't thought through all the things that coal can be used for. One of my favorites is to stuff lumps of it in Xmas Stockings. You also obviously failed to read OhioGuy's post about my particular talent in squeezing lumps of coal with my rectal muscles and converting them into diamonds. Stick a diamond up there, and despite squeezing as hard as I can, it's still just a friggin diamond. No fun in that.
