jeez, we are so freaking obsessed with the color of the skin... :(
But well, in my experience, everyone in our country has this obsession and sometimes inferiority and at times superiority complex. I can't say anything abt my own family coz ya, they all have fair complexion and very good looks with some exceptions ofcourse. ( i feel somehow ppl who lack in one thing or the other like me are more vocal :D )ANd I have often noticed :( a tinge of pride on that account too. ( KAleem's case in point)
However, since we are at it, I am somehow proud(touchwood) that we didn't look for this factor while choosing a girl for my brother from our family.She is quite dark as compared to my brother and that didn't affect him either. And i want to share it coz we have it in our family, in our society and also in our neighborhood people and women who discriminate on account of skin color.
