you are right PCG but i would never pay that much for a wedding outfit even if i can afford it. i did buy alot of pakistani designer outfits but when i learned that i could design my own outfits and get them made for alot less i started doing that instead.

Where do you get the kaam done though? Sometimes these designers come up with such good kaam with such good finishing. If you know any place in khi, then please let me know.

Ya thats so true…I was watching this Asia Bridal Show and some of the outfits had this chamak (shine) to it that other average bazaar clothes don’t have…

it sucks that we cannot see all the fashion shows that come and go, with no one knowing about em except people in the industry r fashion magazine.

I have only seen Victoria Secret Lingerie fashion show.
beside that Its pretty hard to find a fashion show. there are some bad quality clips on the web though.

It sucks there r literally tons of fashion shows yet nothing is available online. only pictures like here for Bridal Asia 2004

Well, I think the private Pakistani channels do sometimes show these fashion shows.

But it really sucks, they should show them on a regular basis. Like every week, some new fashion show.

PCG i use to get my outfits made (the embrodiery on them) in Gulf shopping center in clifton but then i talked to the tailor for designer Maria B. and he use to come and stitch and do all the embrodiery on my clothes. He no longer works for Maria B and last i heard he was working for designer Nadya Mistry (its a long story but basically Nadya Mistry stole my tailor)
