kyoo aik ho tu batain. Any person who attended NCA and was around for her final thesis. One clarification to everyone though. At the thesis exhibit in NCA, all paintings are supposed to be accompanied by a photograph of the model/muse (if they used one). Ayesha Omar did not include hers so ppl only saw her full sized nude painting but not her nude photograph which I presume she must have had taken even though it was a self-nude

Ayesha arranged a painting exhibition for her final year thesis in NCA, which raised controversy and excitement claiming that the semi-nude portraits on the exhibition resembled herself. When Ayesha was asked about this issue, she mentioned that there is not enough freedom in Pakistani society to represent the preciousness of life integrated over practical life. She claimed that the human body is the purest of all natural forms; it’s chaste, it’s innocent, but you have to see beyond the apparent to perceive the metaphysical.
