^ London is a major financial capital in the world (especially europe) more or less.
It is like KSA is the biggest market in Pakistan yet PSEC (Paki security and exchanges commission) that regulates the financial market is totally cutoff stationed in Lahore!
I do believe that different fashion groups in karachi/lahore can be good for competition. Everything doesn't have to be centralized in Pakiland.

First of all.......... Seeing the ammount of concern and consideration u guys have in regards to the pakitani fashion scene has left me overwhelmed!! I say sodd those so called designers... n u lott take over the council!! lol......
ok point 1... isnt is supposed to be "Pakistan fashion council" tho yeh lhr-khi wali luch ki kya logic hai!!!! I swear the fashion feternity of pakistan has left me appauled and disgusted!! n im not sure id ever want to be a part of it sumday soon if this is how things are always going to be between them!!
I moved from pak... loongg ago! bak when strappy bustiers in a fashion editorial was considerd a sin!! n im both amazed and proud as to how far weve cum in such a short span of time! these ppl.... shud stop for a moment n think abt how much they and thier counterparts have done for the fashion industry.. bieng a desinger is not just abt.. charging ridiculous ammounts of money... posing for the libas events section etc, they are in sum sense very influencial on pakistani youth! they have alterd thier lifestyles... given them encouragement to cum out of the box! Fashion is religion to me.... n pakistan's prestige and houner perhaps my very first priorty! and seeing how these fashion-esta's are behaving... seriously they just make me wana run them over with a bull dozer!
