Re: Karachi Korner

There are lot historic cemetry in Karachi. The famous one is Chukundi on the National Highway near Pipri. That dates back year 1500. And then there are number of old graveyards in alongside Malir river with same types of graves as Chukundi.

The biggest of the cemetries - Mai Makli is however in District Thatta.

Re: Karachi Korner

There is no Australian beach buddy. However there is the French Beach. This is located in between Hawkes Bay and Paradasie Point. The beach is closed to general public. There are huts belonging to super rich people.

French beach is beautiful and very safe.

Re: Karachi Korner

All the weekend summer parties of super rich people are held at the French Beach.

Re: Karachi Korner

Back in 1992 me and my freind made our way to the French beach from walking the side of Hawkes Bay. On that day Jam Mashooq Ali came over there in 4 luxry boats with his freinds and lots of .........

Re: Karachi Korner

But these days they even do not allow to walk up to the French Beach. There are security guards who would return you.

Re: Karachi Korner

On a March day in 1988 (working day), I went to the French beach with my class for an Algae collection as Karachi beaches receives a lot algae during March.

Re: Karachi Korner

Well you can find fancy and small beautiful fish in the rocks of French beach but you can not catch them.

Re: Karachi Korner

They have cultivated lots of palm trees over there and it is now much much beautiful.

Re: Karachi Korner

I was born in Karachi, lived in gulistan-e-jauhar. I haven’t seen a whole lot of it except a few places. :bummer: The most I have seen was on Google Earth. :chupki:

P.S. I do not like Karachi at all. :stuck_out_tongue: Lahore and Multan are WAYYY better..

Re: Karachi Korner

what ? comparin Karachi with multan ?

No analogy at all ! :( But i do wish Inzi was born in KHI

Re: Karachi Korner

It is probably the memories in my case. I had the time of life in Lahore and Multan. I spent my bachpan in Karachi and it was pleasant. I can't see myself living there with Haalaat being this way (strikes and all) now.

Re: Karachi Korner

Not comparing. Multan is in no condition to be compared to Giant Karachi. Lahore is better than karachi in every way. It may not be as industrial and we don't need to make it industrial, but it's still a much cooler place to live in.
