I second this.
Just came back after spending a month in Karachi and there is no other solution other than (underground) subway. Traffic is not only wasting time and money, accidents and road rage are already getting on nerves of the ppl and they are getting lose tempered and its showing in other areas of their lifestyle too. Small distances of 10km-20km takes hours to cover specially during rush hours.
Its late but as they its never too late. If Federal and Provincial govt can make it their top priority, I am sure they can make first segment of subway operational within 5 years.
