So if you can tolerate known killers and criminals as your ministers, then also learn to tolerate someone who has faced prison for 7+ years on fabricated charges against him and has been declared innocent by the courts.

I know only that the worst target killing and turf war in the history of Karachi was taking place when Afaq Ahmed was in prison and there were no signs of his party visible anywhere in the city.
So people should stop making him an escape goat for the crimes of MQM-A, Aman Committee or the others.

Remember a couple years ago, he tried to get a case registered against them in UK.
Remember until recently MQM threatened to kill him if he came to Karachi.
There is no reply from PTI people when asked why IK does not speak against MQM anymore.

Maybe after or while collecting evidences, IK found out that MQM and Altaf Hussein are not guilty and have nothing to do with the charges he was putting with them... and for IK and any other Politician, it is not easy to talk against Brits court and their Crown Prosecution !!! so he silently withdrew his case or and have stopped accusing MQM!!!
Same way, when Imran and his party was very much fond of protesting against agencies and was support Amna Masood Janjua in all her protests in ISB and then suddenly something happened and PTI do not support here any more, hell i have not seen anyone from the PTI's leader recalling her name.. may be because finally IK and PTI have realized that the missing persons were actually criminals???
Exactly the same thing happened when not very long ago, PTI was having Sit-ins against drone attacks, in Peshwar, Karachi and in one of the sit-ins, IK announced if Drones are not stopped in months time then there will be permanent Sit-in to block the supplies and get the drone stopped, and then suddenly, something happened, and that month which was suppose to end in the last days of May, pro-longed till date... the drone continued and have only stopped after the recent attack on Pakistani check post by NATO.
