Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Disclaimer: I hate MQM, PPP, Mirza. Nawaz Sharif for the record as they are all chor and kill innocent Pakistanis.

I think Mustafa Kamal gave a great rebuttal in his interview. Mirza sounded like an idiot talking about his dada, nana and other BS. Calling Mustafa Kamal a telephone operator at 90 made me respect Kamal as there is nothing wrong with being a telephone operator. Also this whole Quran on the head thing was answered well by Kamal that only a person with bad character and who is not trusted by people would do such a thing to prove his credibility. Kamal did do a lot of work for Karachi and there is no denying it since I saw tangible evidence (such as roads, parks etc) when I visited karachi a month ago. PPP had never done anything tangible as far as development wise in Karachi. With all that said, Kamal is a chor and terrorist too just like everybody else who is a political player in Khi

With all that said, Altaf Hussain needs to be brought to justice as he is the biggest chor in Pakistan. Zardari, Mirza, Altaf, Nawaz are all the same. They'll kill, loot, and sell their mothers to be in Power. God Bless Pakistan!

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

You mean they need a written contract for policing for 20 years? They have been in city for so long that they are now considered part of city police.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Wrong, Altaf is not just a chor, he runs the biggest murderer. Second, it was federally funded money used to make roads and flyovers in Karachi, all done by Musharraf to make MQM a hero.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

catch 22.

If they dont do anything "oh what did MQM do for Karachi? Nothing"

if they do something "oh it was to make MQM hero"

pick whichever you like

One reality (i.e MQM has killed people) does not automatically nullify another reality (i.e MQM have done good development work in Karachi).

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

I know Altaf has killed many thousands.

Who have Nawaz, Zardari, Mirza killed?

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Dude, it was not MQM, it was Musharraf who poured this money into Karachi at the expense of other cities in Pakistan.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Expense of other cities? are you serious? Karachi fuels Pakistan's economy. Please stop making stupid baseless statements like above!

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Please get your facts right before regurgitating MQM propaganda. The resources Pakistan have are not unlimited and everyone should get their fair share. While Karachi is economic hub, its contribution is often bloated and there is no reason why other cities should be ignored.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

You can say other cities are being ignored but you can't just make a bold statement as "Karachi at the expense of other cities in Pakistan" without any substance to back it up. Expense of what cities was development work in karachi done? Don't be blinded by your hatred where you don't give credit to people where it is due!

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

karachi contribute 70% in economy. karachi still does not get fair amount of share. haters of mqm like ZM are afraid of mqm popularity in interior sind.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Not to mention billions skimmed by that super duper mayor off the 600 billion spent...for which all he has to show for are ill-planned fly overs that don't benefit non car owners, flood in rain and sometimes collapse as well...

With 600 billion, one could have laid an under network of tube, built well planned fly overs and expressways, and provided proper compensation for the displaced (lyari expressway), not Rs. 50K and some far flung plot in North Karachi...

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

No it doesn't all the industry has moved out of Karahi and into Punjab or outside Pakistan...the only things Karachi contributes in are: 90% terrorism, 100% bhatta/extortion, 70% kidnappings, 100% fascism, 90% vote stealing, and 100% ghaddari...

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Thats a lie fatter than Altaf Hussein. It does not contribute a fraction of it.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

all kind of kidnapping (son of ex governor of punjab), all other attack on police academy, and hotels were happened in punjab.

indeed, it is a lie fatter than AH and ZM.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

This is what the MQM has done to Karachi:

** Karachi security situation worse than Waziristan’s, SC told**

During the hearing, Director-General Rangers Major-General Mohammad Ejaz Chaudhry said that Karachi’s security situation was worse than that of Waziristan.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Wrong. Karachi does not account for 70% of Pakistan’s economy. It’s only 20%.

*“Karachi’s GDP is around 20% of the total GDP of Pakistan”
*

Punjab - contributes 59% to Pakistan’s GDP.

**Sindh (incl Karachi) - 30% contribution to Pakistan’s GDP.

**
Khyber Pakhtunkwa
- 10.5% contribution to Pakistan’s GDP

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Karachi's contribution is around 20% in Country's GDP (which itself is a big number) but its more about revenue collection than GDP and here are the numbers.

According to the Pakistan Federal Board of Revenue's 2006-2007 year book tax and customs units in

  • Karachi was responsible for 46.75% of direct taxes, 33.65% of federal excise tax, and 23.38% of domestic sales tax.
  • Karachi also accounts for 75.14% of customs duty and 79% of sales tax on imports.
  • Therefore, Karachi collects a significant 53.38% of the total collections of the Federal Board of Revenue
  • Karachi's indigenous contribution to national revenue is 25%.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Zardari was having a chance in 2008 but he could not manage.
He was not capable and his team was very low type,
Everyone loves Pakistan even little angry Balochs.
People of Karachi love Pakistan but how to get them out from this fire of ethnicity and racism.

Re: Kamran Khan Interview Zulfiqar Mirza and Mustafa Kamal after Press

Strongly disagree. Karachi has still major contribution in Pakistan's economy. You may oppose a party and its deeds, but atleast accept the fact that Karachi in all bad circumstances mentioned in your post, does contribute a lot and provide source of bread and butter to many. I do agree that there are no free lunches for anyone in Karachi and Karachiwals feed all the Pakistan is wrong statement, but can't agree that Karachi has no major role in Pakistan's economy.
